Numana Food Packing Event at Risen Savior Lutheran Church

The cost of each life-sustaining meal is only 30 cents! This includes all of the ingredients, packaging, administration, and international shipping of the container.

Register now to help pack meals on Saturday, September 30.  You can pack from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. or Noon – 1:30 p.m.   A Lunch will be provided from 11:30 – Noon!
Meals consist of rice, soy protein, freeze-dried pinto beans and a blend of vitamins and minerals targeted to help the immune system of malnourished people.
Volunteers measure the ingredients, scooping them into meal bags, weigh and seal the bags, and box the finished product. The boxes are  then loaded to trucks to prepare for international shipping.
Based in El Dorado, KS, Numana, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) public charity formed in August 2008, as an international hunger relief organization. Their first food-packaging event was held in El Dorado, KS in December of 2009. Since then they have packaged over 37 million meals across the United States with the help of over 197,000 volunteers.
