The focus of our Lenten Series is based on the concept of road signs and how their messages apply to our life in Christ during the season of Lent.
The services are from 7:15 – 7:45 pm

February 21 Offering: Lutheran Hour.
February 28 Offering: Lutheran Student Center.
March 7 Offering: Global Lutheran Outreach.
March 14  Offering: Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church at Navajo, New Mexico
March 21 Offering: Love, INC.

Easter Family Fun, Sunday, March 25 from 3:30–5:00 p.m.
We will host an Easter Family Fun event for the entire community! Join us for an Easter Egg Hunt with separate hunts for children ages 0-2, 3-6 & 7 and older. We will have a variety of crafts kids can make and games to play!  Kids can decorate Easter sugar cookies, have their face painted and hair colored!  Put your thinking cap on; Guess-n-Win candy containers will be sitting out during the event, estimate the right amount and win!  And more!!  This event is free and the community is invited to join us!
Palm Sunday, March 25 
Services at 8:00 & 10:30 a.m.
 
The first day of Holy Week is Palm Sunday. The mood of these services are a mixture of triumph and tragedy, observing Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem as well as anticipating the somber events of the coming week.
Maundy Thursday Service,
March 29, 7:00 p.m.
Offering: Assist an SMP student with Seminary Expenses.
 
The word “Maundy” in Maundy Thursday is taken from the Latin word “mandatum” meaning commandment. During this service we recognize the commandment Jesus instituted at the Last Supper: “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another.”
Good Friday Service
March 30 begin at 7:00 p.m.
Offering: Risen Savior Scholarship Fund.
 
This day we reflect upon Jesus’ arrest, His trial, crucifixion and suffering, death, and burial. It is a day to celebrate the sacrifice on the cross of Christ, our Passover Lamb. We remember that our own sins have been forgiven because of Jesus’ death.
Breakfast will be served by the Sr. Youth and their parents between services on Easter!
Easter Sunday, April 1- Services 8:00 & 10:30 a.m.
 
On Easter we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and His triumphant victory over death.
